Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matthias Van Severen took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Vlesenbeek's Tristan Vervaeck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Vervaeck in the 11th minute of play forced FC Twiztid's goalkeeper Wart Van den Berchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joonatan De Hond kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Tristan Vervaeck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wart Van den Berchen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vlesenbeek's Stefan Heers got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tristan Vervaeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wart Van den Berchen having to interfere. A collision led to FC Twiztid getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bart Lenaerts hit a great ball. Stefan Heers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wart Van den Berchen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Heers in the 26th minute. FC Twiztid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Stefan Heers scored to the left of an out of position Wart Van den Berchen, making the score, 2-0. In the 36th minute Tristan Vervaeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wart Van den Berchen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Vlesenbeek's Tristan Vervaeck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Tristan Vervaeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vlesenbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Tristan Vervaeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wart Van den Berchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tristan Vervaeck to strike the kick off in the second half. Bruno Moreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kris Vanhaeren having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Bart Lenaerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Twiztid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlesenbeek the free kick. 58 minutes into the game, Michael Persoons was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 63rd minute, Stefan Heers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tristan Vervaeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wart Van den Berchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlesenbeek. Wart Van den Berchen came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Vlesenbeek's Michael Persoons. But to his dismay, Michael Persoons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The goalkeeper, Kris Vanhaeren, was totally fooled by FC Twiztid's Benoit Oelemans, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to FC Twiztid getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Bart Lenaerts hit a great ball. Stefan Heers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wart Van den Berchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Persoons in the 98th minute of play. There was no doubt that Vlesenbeek were the better team. Vlesenbeek's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
