AFC Lonzee's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Nils Roelands scored to the left of an out of position Jannes Pardaens, making the score, 1-0. Jannes Pardaens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Roelands, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jannes Pardaens made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Noel Vandamme sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrice Meersmans during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th play minute Noel Vandamme came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jannes Pardaens. 2-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Noel Vandamme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harelbeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Vandamme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, AFC Lonzee's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nils Roelands fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. AFC Lonzee's Fabrice Meersmans got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabrice Meersmans made a kick off. Noel Vandamme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Nils Roelands left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harelbeke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Jannes Pardaens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Vandamme in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Noel Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Pardaens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Noel Vandamme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Nils Roelands left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, Harelbeke's Gunter Heijlen got a free kick in the 84th minute. Noel Vandamme scored 5-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jannes Pardaens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Lonzee's zone, Nils Roelands stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Pardaens came out of the goal and Nils Roelands tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nils Roelands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
