Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jim Van de Plas kicked off to start the match. Louis-Philippe Elssen kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Manu Huijghens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim-Jan De Kerper in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Rekegem booed when Bossiere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartjan De Custer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Van de Plas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Tim-Jan De Kerper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim-Jan De Kerper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manu Huijghens having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Rekegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giles Wolfdoncx to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match Ward Clement sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manu Huijghens skillfully saved the ball. Ferdinando Pani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Van de Plas in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, Rekegem's Manu Huijghens got control of the ball when Tim-Jan De Kerper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim-Jan De Kerper in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manu Huijghens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manu Huijghens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim-Jan De Kerper's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Ruben Volle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manu Huijghens, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Tim-Jan De Kerper made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim-Jan De Kerper in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manu Huijghens saved Rekegem from getting behind. Bartjan De Custer struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Manu Huijghens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bossiere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim-Jan De Kerper in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manu Huijghens saved Rekegem from getting behind. The supporters of Bossiere booed when Rekegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giles Wolfdoncx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rekegem's Manu Huijghens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim-Jan De Kerper in the 62nd minute of play. Bartjan De Custer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Tim-Jan De Kerper made a precise shot to the right of Manu Huijghens. Rekegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 68 minutes into the game, Tim-Jan De Kerper cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Manu Huijghens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Bossiere booed when Rekegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilles Depauw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Volle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bossiere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Gilles Depauw scored to the left of an out of position Ferdinando Pani, making the score, 4-1. Ferdinando Pani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilles Depauw in the 82nd minute. If Ruben Volle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manu Huijghens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim-Jan De Kerper in the 86th minute of play. When Bossiere's Tim-Jan De Kerper in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rekegem's goalie prevented a goal. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rekegem! The referee gave Bossiere a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ward Clement, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rekegem's Manu Huijghens. 5-1. Tim-Jan De Kerper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Bossiere players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
