Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronald Labrouche took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Richy Seveneijns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronald Labrouche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wim Delen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Gery Bautmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malempre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gery Bautmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Wery had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tommas Helsen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tuur Goris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Wery having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tuur Goris managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Venthoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuur Goris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Wery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommas Helsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Wery came out and tried to block the shot, but Tommas Helsen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. Miguel Wery made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tuur Goris in the 31st minute. A collision led to Malempre getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Floris Opdebeeck hit a great ball. Tommas Helsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuur Goris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, Tommas Helsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Venthoek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommas Helsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malempre's Miguel Wery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommas Helsen in the 44th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richy Seveneijns during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ronald Labrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Tommas Helsen made the kick off in the second half. Tuur Goris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Miguel Wery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Malempre's Roderik Skouten got a free kick in the 64th minute. The SC Venthoek fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when SC Venthoek's Tommas Helsen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Miguel Wery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuur Goris, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Richy Seveneijns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommas Helsen took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Wery. Miguel Wery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 80 minutes into the match, SC Venthoek's goalkeeper Wim Delen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gery Bautmans. After a defensive mix-up in Malempre's zone, Tommas Helsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Wery came out of the goal and Tommas Helsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Wery stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommas Helsen's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The SC Venthoek fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when SC Venthoek's Tuur Goris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 96 played minutes Malempre got a freekick which was hit by Wouter Hunaerts. The audience was convinced that Tuur Goris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Wery was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
