Ward Snyers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattijs Van Beersel in the 7th minute of play. Mattijs Van Beersel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Steckens in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Robrecht Baecke fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KAA Grandmenil's protests and gave Robrecht Baecke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KAA Grandmenil getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Robrecht Baecke hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Robrecht Wortelaert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ward Snyers skillfully saved the ball. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Mateo Lanckneus got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Kenney Van der Borght kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Sebastian Steckens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ward Snyers having to interfere. Sebastian Steckens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, KAA Grandmenil's Thobias Duchateau got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garry Blocks during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KAA Grandmenil getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Garry Blocks hit a great ball.
