Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norbert Konings started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Hooligans booed when KSV Vinalmont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Kuppens didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, KSV Vinalmont's goal looked a bit too open when Brend Cremers came free, but Rocky Steenberghs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raf Van De Wyngaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis De Scheper having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Willy Kuppens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brend Cremers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perry Laurent struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Rocky Steenberghs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hooligans. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Norbert Konings managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Vinalmont's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Konings was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Louis De Scheper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Konings fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis De Scheper having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hooligans's zone, Norbert Konings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis De Scheper came out of the goal and Norbert Konings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KSV Vinalmont's Willy Kuppens has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brend Cremers was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Brend Cremers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hooligans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brend Cremers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rocky Steenberghs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brend Cremers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Brend Cremers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Van den Ende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincent Van den Ende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocky Steenberghs having to interfere. KSV Vinalmont's Willy Kuppens got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willy Kuppens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Louis De Scheper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Brend Cremers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocky Steenberghs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Hooligans were victorious despite being under pressure from KSV Vinalmont for much of the match.
