The wind increased when Cederik Vissenaekens made the kick off in the second half. If Loid Van de Weijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Loid Van de Weijer came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Wetteren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loid Van de Weijer couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Steve Langendonck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Laporte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Maxim-Alexander Vanhaeren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59thth minute of the game Steve Langendonck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spanito fc's Alfons Laporte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Steve Langendonck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfons Laporte. That made the score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Timmy Sproten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spanito fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmy Sproten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfons Laporte was a little too slow when Steve Langendonck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-2. Cederik Vissenaekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulus De Raedemaeker having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Spanito fc's Timmy Sproten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulus De Raedemaeker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Steve Langendonck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alfons Laporte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loid Van de Weijer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Alfons Laporte skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Steve Langendonck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spanito fc's Alfons Laporte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loid Van de Weijer struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alfons Laporte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wetteren.
