Spectators: 7618 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thibau Wijnants kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Thibau Wijnants hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Laporte made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Lars Van Hoeijveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th match minute, Spanito fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natan Visch to maneuver through the defense. Spanito fc's Alfons Laporte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Spanito fc from getting a goal against them. After having played for 15 minutes, Lars Van Hoeijveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Hombeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Van Hoeijveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cederik Vissenaekens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Pieter-Maarten Huijbregs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KAA Hombeek's Pieter-Maarten Huijbregs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederik Vissenaekens in the 22nd minute of play. Timmy Sproten scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pieter-Maarten Huijbregs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfons Laporte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibau Wijnants, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Spanito fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natan Visch to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on KAA Hombeek's corner Joseph Van Hespen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfons Laporte quite easily take care of the ball. Alfons Laporte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibau Wijnants, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lars Van Hoeijveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Alfons Laporte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Spanito fc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cederik Vissenaekens made the kick off in the second half. Pieter-Maarten Huijbregs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederik Vissenaekens in the 52nd minute of the match. Lars Van Hoeijveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alfons Laporte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind KAA Hombeek's goalkeeper Pieter-Maarten Huijbregs, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thibau Wijnants recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dreas Reijniers fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spanito fc's protests and gave Dreas Reijniers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KAA Hombeek booed when Spanito fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dreas Reijniers didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thibau Wijnants in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfons Laporte saved Spanito fc from getting behind. Alfons Laporte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Van Hoeijveldt in the 75th minute of play. Lars Van Hoeijveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cederik Vissenaekens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Maarten Huijbregs having to interfere. Pieter-Maarten Huijbregs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cederik Vissenaekens in the 84th minute of the match. KAA Hombeek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spanito fc the free kick. Karel-Jan Scheppers hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Cederik Vissenaekens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
