Biali Arianie's Michael Lanckneus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loid Van de Weijer in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Wetteren's Loid Van de Weijer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Lanckneus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 24 minutes, Francois Uyttebroeck made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Wetteren's Paulus De Raedemaeker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulus De Raedemaeker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francois Uyttebroeck in the 33rd minute. Michael Lanckneus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Langendonck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Wetteren booed when Biali Arianie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedrik Marrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Lanckneus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francois Martens in the 41st minute of the match. Michael Lanckneus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Langendonck, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Cedrik Marrant hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Francois Martens, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steve Langendonck to strike the kick off in the second half. Michael Lanckneus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Langendonck in the 56th minute of play. Michael Lanckneus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Langendonck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Biali Arianie's Michael Lanckneus got control of the ball when Loid Van de Weijer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Mattijs De Mijer came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Biali Arianie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattijs De Mijer couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Biali Arianie's zone, Loid Van de Weijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Lanckneus came out of the goal and Loid Van de Weijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Michael Lanckneus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Langendonck in the 89th minute of play forced Biali Arianie's goalkeeper Michael Lanckneus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Lanckneus came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Wetteren's Loid Van de Weijer. But to his dismay, Loid Van de Weijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Wetteren players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
