Spectators: 6799 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dyllan Helssen kicked off to start the match. Luckas Baert scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karel-Jan Pijps, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicky Sommers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Stuckers having to interfere. If Nicky Sommers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Sommers in the 22nd minute of play forced Lede's goalkeeper Roger Stuckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicky Sommers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Stuckers having to make a save. Nicky Sommers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Lede booed when KFC Spendenhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Van Den Broek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Jo Weggers in the 30th minute really tested Karel-Jan Pijps's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dyllan Helssen in the 31st minute of play forced Lede's goalkeeper Roger Stuckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Stuckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dyllan Helssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dyllan Helssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicky Sommers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Roger Stuckers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Matijs Susters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Stuckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Dyllan Helssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Stuckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristof Van Hoyveldt made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Spendenhoek's zone, Kristof Van Hoyveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karel-Jan Pijps came out of the goal and Kristof Van Hoyveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lede getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Timothy Wolput hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Lukas De Moor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lede's Roger Stuckers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Lede from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Dyllan Helssen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roger Stuckers. That made the score 1-1 in the 74 minute of play. When Dyllan Helssen came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the KFC Spendenhoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dyllan Helssen couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lede getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Timothy Wolput hit a great ball. After 87 minutes of play, KFC Spendenhoek's Nicky Sommers made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Stuckers was left in no man's land by his defense there! KFC Spendenhoek's Nicky Sommers got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lede's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dyllan Helssen 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. KFC Spendenhoek's Dyllan Helssen got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KFC Spendenhoek's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
