After a rather tough play, KV Mechelen's Werner Neefs got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Real Spomob's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Tarka came free, but Max Borginions reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Spomob's zone, Edward Tarka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Borginions came out of the goal and Edward Tarka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Spomob's Max Borginions played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Tarka in the 98th minute of play.
