Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mitch De Beer made the kick off which started today's match. After 10 played minutes FC Helson got a freekick which was hit by Leon Biesen. Wayne Diependaele struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Dominic Vissenaekens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Helson. Dominic Vissenaekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Coopmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Mitch De Beer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 21st minute, Glenn Geerts made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Vereeken. FC Helson's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mitch De Beer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Vereeken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mitch De Beer scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Vereeken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Helson's Daan Salms got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Glenn Geerts hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Glenn Geerts fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Glenn Geerts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edgard Vereeken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 42 minutes, Mitch De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erembodegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitch De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Werner Coopmans made a kick off. Enzo Ramps's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Vereeken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Youri De Wortelaers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Vereeken having to interfere. If Constant Bauwmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Glenn Geerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erembodegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glenn Geerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Helson defense, Glenn Geerts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Vereeken. The FC Helson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Vereeken should have stopped the shot. FC Helson's Edgard Vereeken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Geerts in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Mitch De Beer made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Helson's Edgard Vereeken tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Erembodegem's Glenn Geerts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Vereeken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 70 minutes, Mitch De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erembodegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitch De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Glenn Geerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Vereeken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Vereeken came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Erembodegem's Mitch De Beer. But to his dismay, Mitch De Beer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. If Glenn Geerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. When the referee ended the match the Erembodegem players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
