In the 15th minute, Jorn Ryers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Dilsen-Stokkem's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch De Beer came free, but Matias Verhasselt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Erembodegem's Mitch De Beer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 34th minute, Glenn Geerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constant Bauwmans struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Matias Verhasselt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erembodegem. After 42 played minutes Erembodegem got a freekick which was hit by Nils Coekx. If Glenn Geerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas de Neuyter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Mitch De Beer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erembodegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mitch De Beer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn Geerts in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Verhasselt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th match minute, Dilsen-Stokkem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Vleschers to maneuver through the defense. Glenn Geerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Verhasselt having to make a save. Glenn Geerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernard Van De Wiele hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. A collision led to Dilsen-Stokkem getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bernard Van De Wiele hit a great ball. Dilsen-Stokkem's Matias Verhasselt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch De Beer in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dilsen-Stokkem's Jorn Ryers got a free kick in the 76th minute. Enzo Ramps hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Glenn Geerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lucas de Neuyter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dilsen-Stokkem's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas de Neuyter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Vissenaekens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glenn Geerts might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Verhasselt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glenn Geerts ran back to his position shaking his head.
