Sparta Raptors were furious when Ward Stuckens was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Edgard Lanckneus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Sellekaers having to interfere. Edmond Sellekaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefaan Bekaert in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Jim Styles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Goffrey Eli came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sparta Raptors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goffrey Eli couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Dante Dierickx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goffrey Eli struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Roni Heijligem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sparta Raptors. Edgard Lanckneus scored 1-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmond Sellekaers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Goffrey Eli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Royal Entente Durbuy's goal looked a bit too open when Dante Dierickx came free, but Roni Heijligem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Stefaan Bekaert made the kick off in the second half. If Goffrey Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Sparta Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goffrey Eli to maneuver through the defense. Boris Leemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philipp De Coster hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Roni Heijligem made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Dante Dierickx sent off a good shot on target. Sparta Raptors's Floris Van Hole pulled a muscle in his back after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 80th match minute, Royal Entente Durbuy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Lanckneus to maneuver through the defense. Edmond Sellekaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Leemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Edmond Sellekaers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefaan Bekaert in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefaan Bekaert in the 95th minute of play forced Sparta Raptors's goalkeeper Edmond Sellekaers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jannes Van Aerschot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Royal Entente Durbuy had won after a very even match.
