In the 17th match minute, FC Helson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daan Salms to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Helson's goalkeeper Edgard Vereeken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sparta Raptors's Jim Styles got a free kick in the 26th minute. Edmond Sellekaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Blommaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 43rd minute Floris Van Hole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Vereeken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Floris Van Hole left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sparta Raptors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremy Blommaert to make the kick off. Edgard Vereeken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgard Vereeken was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Floris Van Hole capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Floris Van Hole really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Mattheo Van Gysel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Sparta Raptors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Helson:s goal. Christoph Davus shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 81 minutes into the match, Jeremy Blommaert notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Sparta Raptors's Edmond Sellekaers. Edmond Sellekaers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgard Vereeken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Dierickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Dierickx in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Vereeken prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Floris Van Hole fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Vereeken having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sparta Raptors's Goffrey Eli got a free kick in the 90th minute. When the match was over Sparta Raptors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Helson throughout the match.
