Dennis Van Der Heijden started the match with the kick off. If Dennis Van Der Heijden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnold Van Huytvenne kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Rotem's Dave Leerbels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Van Der Heijden in the 13th minute of play. If Joachim Versluys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dave Leerbels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Van Der Heijden, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, RFC Boeboe's Dennis Van Der Heijden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Leerbels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th play minute Stef Maeijnaerts came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josef Denturck. 1-1. In the 30th minute, Joachim Versluys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. RFC Boeboe's Josef Denturck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stef Maeijnaerts in the 32nd minute of play. Marc Snieders hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Sam-Lucas Van Dessel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Leerbels was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 40th minute Dennis Van Der Heijden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Leerbels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Stef Maeijnaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam-Lucas Van Dessel in the 46th minute of play forced Rotem's goalkeeper Dave Leerbels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sam-Lucas Van Dessel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Leerbels having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stef Maeijnaerts made a kick off. Marc Snieders charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Snieders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Rotem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Snieders to maneuver through the defense. When RFC Boeboe's Dennis Van Der Heijden in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Joachim Versluys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Joachim Versluys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Josef Denturck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joannes Tubbackx fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RFC Boeboe's protests and gave Joannes Tubbackx a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Sam-Lucas Van Dessel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dave Leerbels, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Rotem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RFC Boeboe:s goal. The audience was convinced that Dennis Van Der Heijden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Leerbels was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rotem's goalkeeper Dave Leerbels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RFC Boeboe's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
