Spectators: 6827 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 100) FC Manchita's Ernest Van Meerbeeck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matias Jespers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven made a huge save. Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven was a little too slow when Romain Laurent got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ernest Van Meerbeeck hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bavo Voet kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. FC Manchita:s Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven showed great skill when he stopped Yoeri Deroek:s penalty. In the 28th minute, SC Vlaasendaal's Yoeri Deroek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven. Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After some careless play in the FC Manchita defense, Romain Laurent kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven. The FC Manchita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes FC Manchita got a freekick which was hit by Bavo Voet. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romain Laurent went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Vlaasendaal's Matias Jespers. But to his dismay, Matias Jespers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. FC Manchita's Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romain Laurent in the 61st minute of play. Romain Laurent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, FC Manchita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bavo Voet to maneuver through the defense. Matias Jespers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Van Hallebeeck made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gerrit Ceroux sent off a good shot on target. Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romain Laurent in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes FC Manchita's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yoeri Deroek who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SC Vlaasendaal's Matthieu Volens to fire away a dangerous shot which Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Manchita's Bavo Voet got a free kick in the 77th minute. SC Vlaasendaal's Yoeri Deroek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Manchita. If Gerrit Ceroux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Manchita's goalkeeper Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Vlaasendaal's Dennis Van Hallebeeck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save SC Vlaasendaal from getting a goal against them. Matias Jespers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Peter-Jan Van der Hoeven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Vlaasendaal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Manchita for a fine match.
