After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jens De Maijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Pussemange's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens De Maijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Leerbels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens De Maijer in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dave Leerbels saved Rotem from getting behind. Dave Leerbels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Heijligem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Leerbels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens De Maijer in the 25th minute of the match. Dave Leerbels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas-Jan Van hoeijveld in the 27th minute of play. Thomas-Jan Van hoeijveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dave Leerbels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Van de Weijer in the 31st minute of the match. Marc Snieders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Jens De Maijer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rotem's Dave Leerbels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thomas-Jan Van hoeijveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dave Leerbels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Jens De Maijer put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dave Leerbels. A collision led to Rotem getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Luckas Coekx hit a great ball. The supporters of Rotem booed when AC Pussemange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Vereijt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens De Maijer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jens De Maijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsene Huybreghts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dave Leerbels made a huge save. Pieterjan Lache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Boudewijn Gobbelijns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of AC Pussemange booed when Rotem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieterjan Lache didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jens De Maijer came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the AC Pussemange fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens De Maijer couldn't finish the play. AC Pussemange's Boudewijn Gobbelijns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Versluys in the 73rd minute of play. Dave Leerbels made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Joachim Heijligem sent off a good shot on target. When AC Pussemange's Jens De Maijer in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stef Maeijnaerts in the 94th minute of play forced AC Pussemange's goalkeeper Boudewijn Gobbelijns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boudewijn Gobbelijns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stef Maeijnaerts in the 96th minute of play. The AC Pussemange players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
