Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mathijs Roulin started the match with the kick off. Henri Willems's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Thielens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Erik Wouters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Champi fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fort Huntington the free kick. Erik Wouters kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Tor-Magnus Stålhammar led 5 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Champi fc's Andreas Thielens became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Andreas Thielens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Calewaerts in the 10th minute of play. Champi fc's Waut Wiggers got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Fort Huntington getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bertrand Schoovaerts hit a great ball. Andreas Thielens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Calewaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Fort Huntington got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Schoovaerts. 19 minutes into the match, Fort Huntington's goalkeeper Charles-Louis Pardons had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waut Wiggers. Mathijs Roulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Charles-Louis Pardons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fort Huntington's zone, Waut Wiggers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles-Louis Pardons came out of the goal and Waut Wiggers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertrand Schoovaerts's late challenge caught a Champi fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bertrand Schoovaerts helped the player get up and apologised. Bertrand Schoovaerts hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mathijs Roulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Louis Pardons having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fort Huntington's goalkeeper Charles-Louis Pardons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The long shot by Jos Van Den Eynde in the 36th minute really tested Charles-Louis Pardons's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Henry Calewaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Fort Huntington were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Henri Willems made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Arnout De Rudder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fort Huntington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Champi fc the free kick. The supporters of Champi fc booed when Fort Huntington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnout De Rudder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout De Rudder kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Bertrand De Middeleer hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Champi fc's Bertrand De Middeleer got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Bertrand De Middeleer off the ground. In the 67th minute, Bertrand De Middeleer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor-Magnus Stålhammar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Andreas Thielens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Calewaerts in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Champi fc's Franck Deschrijver got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Champi fc's goalkeeper Andreas Thielens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Calewaerts. If Henry Calewaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Fort Huntington got a freekick which was hit by Richard Verdonk. Charles-Louis Pardons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waut Wiggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute, Bertrand Schoovaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waut Wiggers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles-Louis Pardons having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Waut Wiggers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute of the match Champi fc got a corner. Fort Huntington's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erik Wouters ran over to the corner to take the kick. Erik Wouters made a great header on Champi fc's corner, it was just that Fort Huntington's Charles-Louis Pardons managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waut Wiggers in the 95th minute of play forced Fort Huntington's goalkeeper Charles-Louis Pardons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fort Huntington's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
