Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Henri Willems made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henri Willems in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jasper Van Hoovelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Henri Willems's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jasper Van Hoovelt was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Ehsal's Geordy Ballette got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benne Ghesels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Henry Calewaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ehsal's Benne Ghesels in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fort Huntington's goalie prevented a goal. After 26 played minutes Fort Huntington got a freekick which was hit by Georges Schrijns. In the 30th minute of the match Dreas Conincx shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jasper Van Hoovelt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Fort Huntington's Henry Calewaerts in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ehsal's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes Fort Huntington got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Schoovaerts. Henry Calewaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Henri Willems had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jasper Van Hoovelt. Ehsal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henri Willems was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Henri Willems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jasper Van Hoovelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ehsal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fort Huntington were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benne Ghesels to strike the kick off in the second half. Ehsal's Benne Ghesels got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles-Louis Pardons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benne Ghesels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57th play minutes Benne Ghesels shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Charles-Louis Pardons and just under the crossbar into goal. Henry Calewaerts might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jasper Van Hoovelt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Calewaerts ran back to his position shaking his head. Geordy Ballette struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Charles-Louis Pardons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ehsal. In the 65th minute, Benne Ghesels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jasper Van Hoovelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Willems in the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Fort Huntington's goal looked a bit too open when Benne Ghesels came free, but Charles-Louis Pardons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ehsal's goalkeeper Jasper Van Hoovelt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Henry Calewaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fort Huntington's goalkeeper Charles-Louis Pardons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henry Calewaerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jasper Van Hoovelt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Richard Verdonk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fort Huntington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ehsal the free kick. The supporters of Ehsal booed when Fort Huntington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Verdonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jasper Van Hoovelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Willems, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Bertrand Schoovaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
