Guy Henrix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Maccabi Tilly-Aviv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Henrix to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd play minute Lennart Sterks came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diedrik Vandamme. 1-0. In the 30th minute Geoffrey Bautmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diedrik Vandamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Steve Haelemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Sterks got free with Diedrik Vandamme in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pierre Justus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guy Henrix got free with Ief Schipmans in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, KAA Nieuwkerke's Ief Schipmans got control of the ball when Guy Henrix tried to sneak it across the goal line.
