Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Gerson Simões started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Simões in the 2nd minute of play. Fc-Criuleni-City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matty Cash in the 4th minute. The corner led to Fc-Criuleni-City's Pavel Cheptene getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 6th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Netherlands's Bart Zomerhuis was substituted for Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Pavel Cheptene took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Lundberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Netherlands's Wim Wilmes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Zydrunas Karcemarskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 39th minute of the match. The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Fc-Criuleni-City's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fc-Criuleni-City getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Matty Cash hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 60th minute. Zydrunas Karcemarskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Cheptene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Fc-Criuleni-City's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc-Criuleni-City's Zydrunas Karcemarskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 83rd minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Cheptene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zydrunas Karcemarskas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Fc-Criuleni-City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wim Wilmes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Zydrunas Karcemarskas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Meesters in the 91st minute. Wim Wilmes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Zydrunas Karcemarskas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
