Nico Rix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeroen Gobelijns kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jean-Louis Steenbecks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maarten De Meur in the 24th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maarten De Meur during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Nico Rix came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC.Astene city fans jumped to their feet. Bayern Munchen and the FC.Astene city players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th match minute, F.C. Bayern Munchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dolf Westelinx to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Louis Steenbecks came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Bayern Munchen's Henri-Patrick Balckmans. But to his dismay, Henri-Patrick Balckmans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 47th minute, Nico Rix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maarten De Meur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nico Rix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Maarten Moons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Arnoud Van Boeckost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henri-Patrick Balckmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC.Astene city getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jonas Wijgaert hit a great ball. In the 96th minute of the match Peter-Jan Musseeuw sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Louis Steenbecks skillfully saved the ball. The FC.Astene city supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching F.C. Bayern Munchen's performance. The match ended with a win for F.C. Bayern Munchen.
