Bayern Munchen's Maarten Moons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Demeulemeester in the 30th minute of play. Dolf Westelinx charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dolf Westelinx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Bayern Munchen's zone, Reinaud Kempeneers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maarten Moons came out of the goal and Reinaud Kempeneers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillaume Demeulemeester was the one to do the kick off. F.C. Bayern Munchen's Maarten Moons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillaume Demeulemeester in the 53rd minute of play. Reinaud Kempeneers struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Maarten Moons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Dragons. In the 56th minute, Arnoud Van Boeckost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Siebe Weygaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Guillaume Demeulemeester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarten Moons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillaume Demeulemeester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Henri-Patrick Balckmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert-Jan Vrankx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siebe Weygaerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Maarten Moons made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Pierre Kerkhofs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Dragons's supporters rose to their feet, but Pierre Kerkhofs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maarten Moons breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dolf Westelinx hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Guillaume Demeulemeester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Bayern Munchen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Guillaume Demeulemeester 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Racing Dragons eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
