Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Liverpool FC's Ray Anthonissen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remie Van Deuren in the 4th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robben Baeyens in the 5th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Ray Anthonissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luc Tailleur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reemy Van Gestelt's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, De Panne's goal looked a bit too open when Reemy Van Gestelt came free, but Luc Tailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reemy Van Gestelt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luc Tailleur having to make a save. After 16 minutes of play, De Panne's Robben Baeyens made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Anthonissen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ray Anthonissen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remie Van Deuren in the 22nd minute of the match. Remie Van Deuren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ray Anthonissen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Anthonissen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robben Baeyens's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Natan Dejonckheere's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luc Tailleur firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ray Anthonissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remie Van Deuren in the 42nd minute of play. Liverpool FC's Reemy Van Gestelt got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half De Panne were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remie Van Deuren made a kick off. Luc Tailleur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natan Dejonckheere, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Reemy Van Gestelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverpool FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reemy Van Gestelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st match minute, De Panne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Van Brusselen to maneuver through the defense. In the 64thth minute of the game Remie Van Deuren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool FC's Ray Anthonissen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robben Baeyens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ray Anthonissen made a huge save. Natan Dejonckheere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Luc Tailleur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natan Dejonckheere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Robben Baeyens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Panne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robben Baeyens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, De Panne's goal looked a bit too open when Natan Dejonckheere came free, but Luc Tailleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Sander Van Brusselen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th match minute, De Panne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jullian Cornelis to maneuver through the defense. Robben Baeyens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When De Panne's Remie Van Deuren in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remie Van Deuren in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Anthonissen saved Liverpool FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Remie Van Deuren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Anthonissen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Panne's goalkeeper Luc Tailleur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched De Panne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
