Guido Breugelmans was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Guy Dejardin. 15 minutes into the match, DF CSKA Vladikavkaz's goal looked a bit too open when Sebbe Van Meerbeec came free, but Guido Breugelmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Sebbe Van Meerbeec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc De Tommies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebbe Van Meerbeec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Andre De Brouwer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Breugelmans. DF CSKA Vladikavkaz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andre De Brouwer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Thommy Hoes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luk Ingelborchs kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Fc De Tommies got a freekick which was hit by Luk Ingelborchs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebbe Van Meerbeec in the 28th minute of play forced DF CSKA Vladikavkaz's goalkeeper Guido Breugelmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebbe Van Meerbeec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebbe Van Meerbeec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Guido Breugelmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre De Brouwer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Breugelmans having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thommy Hoes was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Liboton's late challenge caught a Fc De Tommies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Liboton helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Liboton hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, DF CSKA Vladikavkaz's Thommy Hoes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Levi Van de Goor. Levi Van de Goor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Guido Breugelmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre De Brouwer in the 67th minute of play. Sebbe Van Meerbeec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, DF CSKA Vladikavkaz's Sebastian Liboton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Levi Van de Goor narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
