Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sebbe Van Meerbeec started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Levi Van de Goor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart de Koninck, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Guy Dejardin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sem Vandendriessche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Bart de Koninck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Levi Van de Goor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the KFC Voshoek defense, Andre De Brouwer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sem Vandendriessche. The KFC Voshoek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sem Vandendriessche should have stopped the shot. Sem Vandendriessche didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 26th minute, Sebbe Van Meerbeec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Voshoek's zone, Sebbe Van Meerbeec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sem Vandendriessche came out of the goal and Sebbe Van Meerbeec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Levi Van de Goor came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Voshoek's Bart de Koninck. But to his dismay, Bart de Koninck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 42 minutes into the game, KFC Voshoek's Brent-Jan Nys nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Levi Van de Goor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brent-Jan Nys made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Jean Taverniers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Sebbe Van Meerbeec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Vandendriessche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fc De Tommies's zone, Bart de Koninck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levi Van de Goor came out of the goal and Bart de Koninck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bart de Koninck got free with Levi Van de Goor in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andre De Brouwer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sem Vandendriessche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andre De Brouwer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart de Koninck hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Brent-Jan Nys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Van de Goor having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KFC Voshoek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
