Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. SK Erquennes's Manuel De Graef played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basiel Van Dessel in the 25th minute of play. Tom Van Buyten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Laureys having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Basiel Van Dessel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel De Graef made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Didier Van Cleijnenbreughel's late challenge caught a SK Erquennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
