With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebbe Van Meerbeec in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alphonse de la Croix saved Noordhofwijk from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Remy Kesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Andre De Brouwer could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Alphonse de la Croix however easily saved by the left post. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Andre De Brouwer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 65th minute, Godfried van der Eycken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alphonse de la Croix was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Andre De Brouwer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andre De Brouwer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 74 played minutes Noordhofwijk got a freekick which was hit by Remy Kesters. Alphonse de la Croix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebbe Van Meerbeec, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alphonse de la Croix made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Wes Louckx sent off a good shot on target. Levi Van de Goor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Leyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Fc De Tommies's Alphonse de la Croix threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebbe Van Meerbeec, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Andre De Brouwer came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Fc De Tommies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre De Brouwer couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Remy Kesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Noordhofwijk's zone, Andre De Brouwer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alphonse de la Croix came out of the goal and Andre De Brouwer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
