Remco Van Gheel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Fc De Tommies's Levi Van de Goor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffery Reijniers in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Wes Louckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Levi Van de Goor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis Van Eijcke in the 9th minute of play. Andre De Brouwer in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel De Graef, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Levi Van de Goor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis Van Eijcke in the 18th minute of play. Tom Van Buyten struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Levi Van de Goor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Erquennes. 24 minutes into the game, Wes Louckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc De Tommies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Erquennes the free kick. After 24 played minutes Fc De Tommies got a freekick which was hit by Wes Louckx. 25 minutes into the match, SK Erquennes's Jeffery Reijniers broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cornelis Van Eijcke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Van de Goor having to interfere. Wes Louckx kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Cornelis Van Eijcke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Levi Van de Goor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebbe Van Meerbeec took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel De Graef. Manuel De Graef dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 41st minute Sebbe Van Meerbeec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel De Graef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornelis Van Eijcke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebbe Van Meerbeec to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, SK Erquennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joeri Correyns to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the SK Erquennes defense, Lennart De Mesemaekre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel De Graef. The SK Erquennes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel De Graef should have stopped the shot. Levi Van de Goor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis Van Eijcke in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Sebbe Van Meerbeec made a precise shot to the right of Manuel De Graef. SK Erquennes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cornelis Van Eijcke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Van de Goor having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, SK Erquennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Van Buyten to maneuver through the defense. Tom Van Buyten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Levi Van de Goor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, SK Erquennes's goal looked a bit too open when Andre De Brouwer came free, but Manuel De Graef reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre De Brouwer in the 95th minute of play forced SK Erquennes's goalkeeper Manuel De Graef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc De Tommies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SK Erquennes for a fine match.
