In the 16thth minute of the game Joery Kant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elzestraat's Alexander Vloeberghs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nokere were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Elzestraat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukas Sustens took the corner. Wim Coppens tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Alexander Vloeberghs. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 20th minute. 1-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Joery Kant elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Joery Kant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nokere's supporters rose to their feet, but Joery Kant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Vloeberghs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan de Pelsmacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joery Kant in the 38th minute of play forced Elzestraat's goalkeeper Alexander Vloeberghs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Dean Van Acht notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Nokere's Robby Van Eyck. Robby Van Eyck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joery Kant to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexander Vloeberghs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joery Kant showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 53 minute of play. Alexander Vloeberghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joery Kant in the 58th minute of the match. Lionel Sommers hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Henk Valckenaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elzestraat's Pierre-Paul De Ceijser couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nokere. Robby Van Eyck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Rix in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Dean Van Acht made a precise shot to the right of Robby Van Eyck. Nokere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Boudewijn Beets's late challenge caught a Nokere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boudewijn Beets helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Elzestraat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boudewijn Beets to maneuver through the defense. If Stefan de Pelsmacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joery Kant struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Alexander Vloeberghs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nokere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Elzestraat had won after a very even match.
