After a defensive mix-up in Nokere's zone, Geoffrey Weggers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robby Van Eyck came out of the goal and Geoffrey Weggers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lukas Sustens during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave R.R.C Etterbeek a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roni Van Den Eynde, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nokere's Robby Van Eyck. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olliver De Meijer to strike the kick off in the second half. Geoffrey Weggers scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robby Van Eyck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. R.R.C Etterbeek's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
