Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulus Van Hoght started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Paulus Van Hoght managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Alas Azules's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulus Van Hoght was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wesley Swin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Hyperion AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulus Van Hoght fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Degryse in the 15th minute of play forced Las Alas Azules's goalkeeper Jan De Muysere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Las Alas Azules's Jan De Muysere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Degryse in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Hyperion AFC's Ralf Degryse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan De Muysere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Las Alas Azules's goal looked a bit too open when Anthoon Heers came free, but Jan De Muysere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan De Muysere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthoon Heers in the 28th minute of play. Sam-Lucas vrolix kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hyperion AFC's Jacq Godet got control of the ball when Wesley Swin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wesley Swin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jacq Godet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacq Godet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulus Van Hoght in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ralf Degryse made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Ignace De Kerpel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulus Van Hoght sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Swin in the 67th minute of play forced Hyperion AFC's goalkeeper Jacq Godet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute of the match Abraham Reynders shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan De Muysere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Las Alas Azules's Tommie Pineurs got a free kick in the 70th minute. Ralf Degryse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan De Muysere having to interfere. In the 81st minute Paulus Van Hoght shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacq Godet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacq Godet came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Las Alas Azules's Wesley Swin. But to his dismay, Wesley Swin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jan De Muysere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Degryse in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hyperion AFC's zone, Paulus Van Hoght stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacq Godet came out of the goal and Paulus Van Hoght tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Las Alas Azules's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
