An unexpectedly hard shot by Achilles Van Beets in the 35th minute of play forced Desse 's goalkeeper Jannic Goovaers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannic Goovaers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achilles Van Beets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of belisia booed when Desse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocky Van Dijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Soren Staes managed to get in a good position for a shot. belisia's supporters rose to their feet, but Soren Staes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannic Goovaers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Neels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klaas Wintermans went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Soren Staes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jannic Goovaers made a huge save. Soren Staes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Jannic Goovaers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A very good chance. belisia played a much better game than Desse and deserved their victory. The Desse players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
