After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Anthoon Heers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyperion AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthoon Heers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannic Goovaers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jannic Goovaers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Degryse, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Arsene Anteunis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacq Godet having to interfere. Klaas Wintermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacq Godet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsene Anteunis's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Arsene Anteunis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jacq Godet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Desse 's goalkeeper Jannic Goovaers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthoon Heers. Desse 's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Anthoon Heers scored to the left of an out of position Jannic Goovaers, making the score, 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ralf Degryse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ralf Degryse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jannic Goovaers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Hyperion AFC's goalkeeper Jacq Godet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yelle Le Page. In the 58th match minute, Hyperion AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Van den Haute to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Desse 's Jacq Godet threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arsene Anteunis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jacq Godet made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Klaas Wintermans sent off a good shot on target. Arsene Anteunis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacq Godet having to make a save. If Anthoon Heers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Hyperion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsene Anteunis came free, but Jacq Godet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsene Anteunis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
