Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Arsene Anteunis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joris Van Hespe having to make a save. 4 minutes into the match, VC Ganshoren's goal looked a bit too open when Arsene Anteunis came free, but Joris Van Hespe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joris Van Hespe made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Klaas Wintermans sent off a good shot on target. Tomas De Munck kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Joris Van Hespe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsene Anteunis in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes VC Ganshoren got a freekick which was hit by Koen Uyttebroeck. Klaas Wintermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joris Van Hespe having to interfere. In the 14th minute Arsene Anteunis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joris Van Hespe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante De Wortelaers struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jannic Goovaers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VC Ganshoren. Desse 's Jannic Goovaers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante De Wortelaers in the 18th minute of play. Paul-Louis Gobbelijns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannic Goovaers having to make a save. After some careless play in the Desse defense, Dante De Wortelaers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jannic Goovaers. The Desse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jannic Goovaers should have stopped the shot. Dante De Wortelaers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Dante De Wortelaers notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Desse 's Jannic Goovaers. Jannic Goovaers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Vaes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Desse got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Vaes. In the 36th minute, Wayne Enfant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klaas Wintermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Joris Van Hespe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Guilian Callens managed to get in a good position for a shot. VC Ganshoren's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilian Callens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannic Goovaers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Rocky Van Dijck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Arsene Anteunis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desse 's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsene Anteunis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joris Van Hespe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half VC Ganshoren were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsene Anteunis to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to VC Ganshoren getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jasper Elsens hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Octavian Wilmots sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and VC Ganshoren's Joris Van Hespe didn't even have to move. If Klaas Wintermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes in the game, Paul-Louis Gobbelijns fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jannic Goovaers having to interfere. Joris Van Hespe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsene Anteunis in the 67th minute of play. Paul-Louis Gobbelijns who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Jannic Goovaers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Klaas Wintermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Koen Uyttebroeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Klaas Wintermans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joris Van Hespe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Wintermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, VC Ganshoren's goal looked a bit too open when Arsene Anteunis came free, but Joris Van Hespe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Desse 's Angelo Vaes got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Joris Van Hespe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arsene Anteunis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the game, Klaas Wintermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Joris Van Hespe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, VC Ganshoren's Dante De Wortelaers got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Arsene Anteunis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
