Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Achilles Van Beets made the kick off and thus started the match. Rafael Neels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Volders in the 3rd minute of play. Abraham Van der Weijden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rafael Neels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Soren Staes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Maertens was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, Abraham Van der Weijden was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zerkegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave belisia the free kick. In the 8th minute, Abraham Van der Weijden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Maertens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Soren Staes's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Soren Staes in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Maertens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes of play, belisia's Achilles Van Beets made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Maertens was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Zerkegem's zone, Soren Staes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Maertens came out of the goal and Soren Staes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Dheedene hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Remi Van Cleijnenbruegel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When belisia's Achilles Van Beets in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zerkegem's goalie prevented a goal. Rafael Neels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried De Smet in the 32nd minute of the match. If Achilles Van Beets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Maertens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achilles Van Beets, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Achilles Van Beets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mateo Maertens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Achilles Van Beets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfried De Smet to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Matthias Michiels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. belisia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zerkegem the free kick. Wilfried De Smet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Neels read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Van Den Eynden in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Maertens saved Zerkegem from getting behind. Soren Staes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mateo Maertens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Achilles Van Beets came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the belisia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilles Van Beets couldn't finish the play. In the 69th match minute, Zerkegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Van der Weijden to maneuver through the defense. Brend Caers charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brend Caers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, one of Zerkegem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zerkegem. The supporters of belisia booed when Zerkegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinard Sustens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Wilfried De Smet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zerkegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfried De Smet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, belisia's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfried De Smet came free, but Rafael Neels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Wilfried De Smet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, belisia's goal looked a bit too open when Reinard Sustens came free, but Rafael Neels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Van Den Eynden during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Klaas Van Den Eynden hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Rafael Neels came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Zerkegem's Wilfried De Smet. But to his dismay, Wilfried De Smet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 92nd minute Marcus Volders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Neels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zerkegem's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Achilles Van Beets 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. The Zerkegem fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. belisia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
