Hyperion AFC's Jacq Godet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsene Anteunis in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Hyperion AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsene Anteunis came free, but Jacq Godet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthoon Heers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Ralf Degryse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyperion AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Degryse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannic Goovaers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hyperion AFC's Jacq Godet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Hyperion AFC from getting a goal against them. Arsene Anteunis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ralf Degryse took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jannic Goovaers. Jannic Goovaers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Klaas Wintermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jacq Godet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Degryse in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jannic Goovaers saved Desse from getting behind. In the 45th match minute, Desse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Van Dijck to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ralf Degryse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannic Goovaers was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsene Anteunis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Desse 's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anthoon Heers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 56th match minute, Hyperion AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertus Wigers to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Arsene Anteunis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anthoon Heers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannic Goovaers having to make a save. 66 minutes into the game, Steff Smedts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hyperion AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desse the free kick. A collision led to Hyperion AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luckas Van der Willeghem hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Desse 's Octavian Wilmots in action when he in the 71st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Joerie Klopterop kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaas Wintermans in the 88th minute of play forced Hyperion AFC's goalkeeper Jacq Godet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsene Anteunis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacq Godet having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hyperion AFC's zone, Arsene Anteunis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacq Godet came out of the goal and Arsene Anteunis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
