Jacky De Munck hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kristen Kerkhofs scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomm Sas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Glen De Meijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Aclot's Alain Rits got a free kick in the 27th minute. Camiel Callaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen De Meijer in the 29th minute of the match. If Bas Hendrickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Senior Citizens RC's Camiel Callaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glen De Meijer in the 37th minute of play. Tomm Sas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Van Damme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bas Hendrickx managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aclot's supporters rose to their feet, but Bas Hendrickx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camiel Callaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of FC Aclot booed when Senior Citizens RC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles-Antoine Gysens didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristen Kerkhofs was the one to do the kick off. FC Aclot's Tomm Sas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Aclot from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alain Rits managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aclot's supporters rose to their feet, but Alain Rits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camiel Callaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Senior Citizens RC booed when FC Aclot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvan Eekhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. Senior Citizens RC's Jacky De Munck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomm Sas but with some difficulty. With a little luck, FC Aclot's Tomm Sas got control of the ball when Maurice Van Damme tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute Kristen Kerkhofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomm Sas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomm Sas made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Maurice Van Damme sent off a good shot on target. FC Aclot were furious when Sylvan Eekhout was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 69th match minute, FC Aclot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylvan Eekhout to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Pieter Demeester was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, FC Aclot's goal looked a bit too open when Kristen Kerkhofs came free, but Tomm Sas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bas Hendrickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Bas Hendrickx notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Senior Citizens RC's Camiel Callaerts. Camiel Callaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bas Hendrickx might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camiel Callaerts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bas Hendrickx ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Aclot's Tomm Sas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Antoine Gysens in the 93rd minute of play. Camiel Callaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bas Hendrickx in the 97th minute of play.
