Spectators: 7592 (Terracing: 5695, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristen Kerkhofs got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Senior Citizens RC's goalkeeper Camiel Callaerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Senior Citizens RC's Camiel Callaerts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Senior Citizens RC from getting a goal against them. Richmond Pieters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Camiel Callaerts made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Senior Citizens RC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! After 17 minutes Senior Citizens RC's goalkeeper Camiel Callaerts managed, with a little bit of luck, save Pieter Antheunis's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. After some careless play in the Senior Citizens RC defense, Pieter Antheunis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camiel Callaerts. The Senior Citizens RC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camiel Callaerts should have stopped the shot. Richmond Pieterss short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Camiel Callaerts to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Richmond Pieters took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Camiel Callaerts to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Senior Citizens RC's Camiel Callaerts got control of the ball when Richmond Pieters tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Senior Citizens RC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitch Van Buyten to maneuver through the defense. Camiel Callaerts was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Roy Pietersma capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roy Pietersma really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richmond Pieters got free with Camiel Callaerts in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stephen Van De Gehuchte might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camiel Callaerts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stephen Van De Gehuchte ran back to his position shaking his head. Mitch Van Buyten hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Nala heeft honger's Roy Pietersma tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Camiel Callaerts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthoon Blomme went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 43 minutes into the match, Senior Citizens RC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Van De Gehuchte came free, but Camiel Callaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Senior Citizens RC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Van Herendael to maneuver through the defense. Senior Citizens RC's Camiel Callaerts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Senior Citizens RC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Richmond Pieters stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richmond Pieters in the 51st minute of play forced Senior Citizens RC's goalkeeper Camiel Callaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camiel Callaerts came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Nala heeft honger's Roger Coremans. But to his dismay, Roger Coremans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 57th minute Richmond Pieters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camiel Callaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stephen Van De Gehuchte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camiel Callaerts having to interfere. Camiel Callaerts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richmond Pieters's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Kristen Kerkhofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bass Leyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Richmond Pieters put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camiel Callaerts. Camiel Callaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richmond Pieters, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Camiel Callaerts came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Nala heeft honger's Richmond Pieters. But to his dismay, Richmond Pieters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Camiel Callaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richmond Pieters, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nala heeft honger fully deserved thier win.
