Senior Citizens RC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristen Kerkhofs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Senior Citizens RC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Charles-Antoine Gysens hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Senior Citizens RC defense, Glen De Meijer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camiel Callaerts. The Senior Citizens RC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camiel Callaerts should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute Glen De Meijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camiel Callaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glen De Meijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Camiel Callaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes FC Aclot got a freekick which was hit by Bas Hendrickx. If Glen De Meijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bas Hendrickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glen De Meijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camiel Callaerts having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Bas Hendrickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomm Sas came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Senior Citizens RC's Kristen Kerkhofs. But to his dismay, Kristen Kerkhofs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kristen Kerkhofs to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, FC Aclot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Rits to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Glen De Meijer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Glen De Meijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Glen De Meijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Aclot's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen De Meijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camiel Callaerts breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Valckenaerts's late challenge caught a Senior Citizens RC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Valckenaerts helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Aclot's Jose Valckenaerts got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Glen De Meijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Glen De Meijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Aclot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glen De Meijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bas Hendrickx struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Camiel Callaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Aclot. Senior Citizens RC's Camiel Callaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bas Hendrickx in the 94th minute of play. Camiel Callaerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glen De Meijer in the 97th minute of play.
