Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nestor Maerschalks kicked off to start the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St. Norbert College's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Godet in the 5th minute of play forced FC Boterpot's goalkeeper Yves Hollants to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. St. Norbert College's Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Boterpot's Yves Hollants got control of the ball when Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Godet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Yves Hollants tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yves Hollants made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aime Jaspers during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Boterpot! The goalkeeper, Yves Hollants, was totally fooled by St. Norbert College's Willy Berchmans, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Christoph Caspers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Van Nel having to interfere. If Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes FC Boterpot got a freekick which was hit by Laurenz Soetemans. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeffrey Musseeuw during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeffrey Musseeuw hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Brian Godet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, FC Boterpot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurenz Soetemans to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Brian Godet lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Yves Hollants. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Godet to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Hollants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoph Caspers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Van Nel having to interfere. Christoph Caspers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Godet hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, FC Boterpot's Christoph Caspers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Van Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim-Alexander Mallaerts in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yves Hollants saved FC Boterpot from getting behind. In the 90th minute Brian Godet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Hollants saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
