Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantijn De Vleeschauwer got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Rik Meynen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Verhaghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richey De Jong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Hendrik Stas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergwijk's supporters rose to their feet, but Hendrik Stas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Verhaghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute of the match, Hendrik Stas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andre Verhaghe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andre Verhaghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richey De Jong in the 17th minute of play. Fabri-potenza's Andre Verhaghe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Fabri-potenza from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Bergwijk booed when Fabri-potenza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantijn De Vleeschauwer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hendrik Stas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andre Verhaghe firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 23 minutes, Rik Meynen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergwijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rik Meynen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Verhaghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richey De Jong in the 27th minute of play. If Richey De Jong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hendrik Stas got free with Andre Verhaghe in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hendrik Stas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Andre Verhaghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Richey De Jong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantijn De Vleeschauwer charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantijn De Vleeschauwer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richey De Jong made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Hendrik Stas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bergwijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hendrik Stas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute Hendrik Stas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Verhaghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 played minutes Fabri-potenza got a freekick which was hit by Constantijn De Vleeschauwer. Hendrik Stas took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andre Verhaghe. Andre Verhaghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 66th play minutes Richey De Jong shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Andre Verhaghe and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik Stas in the 73rd minute of play forced Fabri-potenza's goalkeeper Andre Verhaghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Hendrik Stas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andre Verhaghe. Fabri-potenza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hendrik Stas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Richey De Jong came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Bergwijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richey De Jong couldn't finish the play. Hendrik Stas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Andre Verhaghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Richey De Jong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bergwijk's Hendrik Stas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richey De Jong struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Andre Verhaghe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergwijk. Rik Meynen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hendrik Stas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 played minutes Fabri-potenza got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Van den Ende. In the 99th minute, Hendrik Stas made a precise shot to the right of Andre Verhaghe. Fabri-potenza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. There was no doubt that Bergwijk were the better team. Bergwijk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
