Jorge Audenaert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Audenaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim De Metser having to interfere. The supporters of LaPetiteProutEnCroute booed when Ol Dirty Bastards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Cremers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, LaPetiteProutEnCroute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Devaux to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the LaPetiteProutEnCroute defense, Jorge Audenaert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathieu-Maxim De Metser. The LaPetiteProutEnCroute fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathieu-Maxim De Metser should have stopped the shot. Lennart Schockaert's late challenge caught a Ol Dirty Bastards's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Schockaert helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LaPetiteProutEnCroute! After 27 played minutes Michel Bormans rounded LaPetiteProutEnCroute's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Audenaert got free with Mathieu-Maxim De Metser in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Michel Bormans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieu-Maxim De Metser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Michel Bormans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathieu-Maxim De Metser. Michel Bormans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Jorge Audenaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim De Metser having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, LaPetiteProutEnCroute's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Bormans came free, but Mathieu-Maxim De Metser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Bormans was the one to do the kick off. Yoeri Van den Berge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franky Goethals read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Herbert de Pelsmakere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim De Metser having to interfere. Jorge Audenaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim De Metser having to interfere. Mathieu-Maxim De Metser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Bormans went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Mathieu-Maxim De Metser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Bormans, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Michel Bormans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. LaPetiteProutEnCroute's Mathieu-Maxim De Metser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Bormans in the 81st minute of play. After 84 played minutes Ol Dirty Bastards got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Roelands. In the 90th minute, Klaas Beekman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathieu-Maxim De Metser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Audenaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ol Dirty Bastards fans cheered their team off the field, for while LaPetiteProutEnCroute had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
