Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Albert Verelst got the match started through his kick off. Gerrit Storms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Hunaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Albert Verelst managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSV Lambermont's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Verelst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart-Jan Vranx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathieu-Maxim Rutten during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KSV Lambermont booed when The End is Near was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu-Maxim Rutten didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Gillis Ghesels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The End is Near's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KSV Lambermont the free kick. In the 18th minute Alan De Ketelaere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Storms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Sammy De Smedt made a precise shot to the right of Bart-Jan Vranx. The End is Near's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sammy De Smedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, KSV Lambermont's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Hunaerts came free, but Gerrit Storms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sammy De Smedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Verelst in the 46th minute of play forced The End is Near's goalkeeper Bart-Jan Vranx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sammy De Smedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart-Jan Vranx having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Hunaerts to strike the kick off in the second half. The End is Near's Jacques Baeyens shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gerrit Storms but with some difficulty. 55 minutes into the match, Alan De Ketelaere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerrit Storms. KSV Lambermont's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan De Ketelaere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bass Van Hole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bart-Jan Vranx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, The End is Near was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorne De Clercq to maneuver through the defense. Alan De Ketelaere could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gerrit Storms made a huge save. After 71 played minutes The End is Near got a freekick which was hit by Gillis Ghesels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hunaerts in the 73rd minute of play forced KSV Lambermont's goalkeeper Gerrit Storms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Albert Verelst put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bart-Jan Vranx. If Albert Verelst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mathieux Olemans fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KSV Lambermont's protests and gave Mathieux Olemans a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in KSV Lambermont fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave The End is Near a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vicente Theijs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KSV Lambermont's Gerrit Storms. 3-2. KSV Lambermont walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
