Jan-Joost Bruyneel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jan-Joost Bruyneel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franky Goethals was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After having played for 18 minutes, Jorge Audenaert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ol Dirty Bastards's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Audenaert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Michel Bormans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathieu-Maxim De Metser was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 24th minute of the match, Jan-Joost Bruyneel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franky Goethals saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Herbert de Pelsmakere's late challenge caught a LaPetiteProutEnCroute's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert de Pelsmakere helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ol Dirty Bastards getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Herbert de Pelsmakere hit a great ball. In the 31st match minute, Ol Dirty Bastards was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert de Pelsmakere to maneuver through the defense. LaPetiteProutEnCroute's Jan-Joost Bruyneel got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Klaas Beekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Joost Bruyneel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Franky Goethals came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Joost Bruyneel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute of the game, Klaas Beekman landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Bas De Vreese's late challenge caught a LaPetiteProutEnCroute's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bas De Vreese helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LaPetiteProutEnCroute booed when Ol Dirty Bastards was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas De Vreese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerome Celis struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Franky Goethals didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LaPetiteProutEnCroute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind LaPetiteProutEnCroute's goalkeeper Mathieu-Maxim De Metser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Audenaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim De Metser having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Michel Bormans got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jorge Audenaerts short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Mathieu-Maxim De Metser to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jorge Audenaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieu-Maxim De Metser having to interfere. Mathieu-Maxim De Metser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Bormans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Bormans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathieu-Maxim De Metser having to make a save. LaPetiteProutEnCroute's Mathieu-Maxim De Metser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save LaPetiteProutEnCroute from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ol Dirty Bastards players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LaPetiteProutEnCroute.
