Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) agdeco team's Jorre Franckx started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Jorre Franckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. Pieter-Jan Minnen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pieter-Jan Minnen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorre Franckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Cuveliers scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pieter-Jan Minnen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmond Emeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Leempoels in the 27th minute of play. If Dimitry Wuets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. When Dimitry Wuets came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Landen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitry Wuets couldn't finish the play. Dimitry Wuets received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmond Emeleers came out and tried to block the shot, but Dimitry Wuets slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 34th minute. Pieter-Jan Minnen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorre Franckx in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of agdeco team booed when Landen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoor Voorhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes, Jorre Franckx made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Landen's Pieter-Jan Minnen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Cuveliers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Leempoels to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitry Wuets in the 52nd minute of play forced agdeco team's goalkeeper Edmond Emeleers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Dimitry Wuets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Emeleers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boudewijn Cerneels hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Dimitry Wuets might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Emeleers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitry Wuets ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorre Franckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Steven Leempoels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Emeleers was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. When Mathijs Decorte fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored agdeco team's protests and gave Mathijs Decorte a yellow card for diving instead. Mathijs Decorte kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Edmond Emeleers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitry Wuets in the 77th minute of play. Jorre Franckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pieter-Jan Minnen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Steven Leempoels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bert Sabbe, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Steven Leempoels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Emeleers. agdeco team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steven Leempoels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 94th minute Jorre Franckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pieter-Jan Minnen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Landen's Pieter-Jan Minnen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorre Franckx in the 95th minute of play. agdeco team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
