Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gery Humbelets made the kick off which started today's match. Wilskerke's Timmy Moons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Wilskerke from getting a goal against them. After having played for 6 minutes, Gery Humbelets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uitkerke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gery Humbelets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurend Quintens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilskerke's Timmy Moons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gery Humbelets in the 11th minute of play. If Fabrice Goolen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem Oyen in the 19th minute of play forced Uitkerke's goalkeeper Ward Bosmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylven Polspoel during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the match, Wilskerke's Fabrice Goolen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ward Bosmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ward Bosmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem Oyen in the 23rd minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Laurend Quintens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match, Laurend Quintens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Timmy Moons was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Timmy Moons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gery Humbelets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Wilskerke got a freekick which was hit by Tommie Bautmans. After a defensive mix-up in Wilskerke's zone, Gery Humbelets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmy Moons came out of the goal and Gery Humbelets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willem Oyen to make the kick off. Laurend Quintens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uitkerke's Ward Bosmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem Oyen in the 59th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommie Bautmans during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uitkerke booed when Wilskerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Bautmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gery Humbelets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Moons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gery Humbelets went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Fabrice Goolen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wilskerke's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrice Goolen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ward Bosmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ward Bosmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willem Oyen in the 78th minute of the match. Fabrice Goolen let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 80th minute shot 2-2 at rihgt post. Robbe Rompen's late challenge caught a Uitkerke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robbe Rompen helped the player get up and apologised. Timmy Moons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurend Quintens in the 85th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Uitkerke's Thijs Jenken seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thijs Jenken the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uitkerke protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thijs Jenken had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Uitkerke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wilskerke:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrice Goolen got free with Ward Bosmans in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
