Westbeke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Vincke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Bill Wiechgers put in a rough tackle. After the first half Westbeke were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Chowaniec to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaos's goalkeeper Ryan Henderickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brend Hennes in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryan Henderickx saved Chaos from getting behind. Ryan Henderickx was a little too slow when Ryszard Chowaniec got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Chaos's zone, Ryszard Chowaniec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Henderickx came out of the goal and Ryszard Chowaniec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes of play Westbeke's Stijn Van Havent was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Westbeke's Stijn Van Havent got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ryszard Chowaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. In the 95th match minute, Chaos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romain Duchateau to maneuver through the defense. Stefaan Calewaerts's shot from long distance in the 97th minute was not bad at all, but Chaos's Ryan Henderickx knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. A collision led to Chaos getting a freekick after 101 minutes play. Romain Duchateau hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Westbeke left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chaos.
