Cederic Mallecots scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claus Verschelde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Wouteringen getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ruud Vos hit a great ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Greg De Tapp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greg De Tapp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Mike Severyns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tran De Scheper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Gregoire Moerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wouteringen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregoire Moerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cederic Mallecots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Wouteringen's Cederic Mallecots nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claus Verschelde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Selange! The referee gave Wouteringen a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yanniek Van Hautvinck, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Selange's Claus Verschelde. 0-3. Thommy Uijterhoven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg De Tapp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Wouteringen's Cederic Mallecots ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claus Verschelde. Claus Verschelde yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 64th minute, Mike Severyns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Selange's Dean Vandenberge broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tran De Scheper in the 69th minute of play forced Wouteringen's goalkeeper Thommy Uijterhoven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greg De Tapp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Selange's Greg De Tapp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thommy Uijterhoven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Wouteringen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
